Week 1, Thing 2

One of the best parts of being a librarian is that we have the opportunity everyday to participate in lifelong learning. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't learn something new and interesting. If I look at the 7 1/2 habits, I think playing is the easiest for me (# 7 1/2) #s 7 through 2 are all a matter of habit, and #1: "Begin with the end in mind" is the most challenging. This is probably because, as you might notice here, I do everything backwards.

As a school librarian, my goal this summer is to set up a library webpage and to explore ways I might use Web 2.0 tools with my middle school students next year. It feels like a big undertaking, but it will be both challenging and fun.
